Yoga for Babies or Yoga for Youngsters
For babies age 2 months to 1 year.
After giving birth to my daughter in 1998, I created this curriculum as an avenue for parents to use yoga to introduce gentleness to their children, ages 2 to 12 months. The method uses yoga relaxation techniques including yoga positions, touch massage, and various movements as well as incorporating talking, singing, and playing with one’s child. This curriculum is the basis of her book Yoga for Youngsters.
This curriculum promotes the physical, mental, and emotional development of babies in order to make them strong, smart, and of a good disposition, as well as creating bonds between parents and child.
One 30-minute class and continuing as needed.
