Mindfulness Yoga for Seniors and special needs


For seniors or those that have body limitation



This curriculum teaches those who have physical limitations due to age, disability, medication use, loss of flexibility, poor muscle tone, stiff joints, poor hearing, poor eyesight, stress or mental issues.


Improvement in the nervous system. Improvement of the musculoskeletal system addressing pain in the back, arms and legs. Reduction of somatic and psychological complaints. Reduced numbness, tingling, headaches or dizziness. Less twitching of the face, head and shoulder area. Positive emotional changes. Reduction of anxiety, nervousness, irritability and impulsive behavior. Increased self-esteem and physical fitness. Renewed interest in sex and a new sense of community.


One 45 minute class and continuing as needed.
